Visiting the Foire de Paris with a friend was a unique treat, to be sure. The product show has been an annual event for 112 years, and the current venue is the huge Paris Expo complex at Porte de Versailles in the southwestern corner of the city. There were at least eight giant pavilions filled with everything from massage chairs and electronics, to specialty foods and sit-down restaurants. We certainly didn’t see everything, but my favorite was the international hall where we ogled products from too many countries to count. There were even Native American booths with some interesting items on display. I’m sure every French person is just dying to own a full headdress. 🙂
