Over the last several years life has taken me to many unexpected places. I have been fortunate to travel to the beautiful city of Paris, while also exploring many of the rivers and coastal areas in North Central Florida where I live. Other trips have led me to discover parts of the United States I’d previously known superficially rather than by experience. Though I sometimes travel with friends and family, just as often I go alone, and as I write this I am preparing for my seventh trip to Paris.

It is my plan that this blog will not only be a place to report my past and future experiences in Paris, but also a compilation of information about places I have visited and loved. Welcome to Paris Roads and North Florida Waterways!
