On a sunny Sunday in July, I visited the Gardens of Versailles, arriving just in time to see the beautiful fountains in action.

Did you get a chance to pop over the road and visit the Postage du Roi? The old kitchen gardens, we visited a few years ago and they’re very interesting and impressive but, as a keen gardener, I wanted to stay on and supervise some badly needed weeding.
